Bruntwood Playwriting Competition entry is done. Very excited at the prospect of it as I have chosen to enter a play that I have felt very strongly about. I wrote it about two years ago and since looking at it again realised that it had a lot of potential. Of course, I would be naive to be completely confident, but this is one play that I have written that I do beleive in and glad to have re-written it, made it stronger and entered it into one of the toughest and best competitions that we have.
What next? Well, the small matter of trying to find something to do with my book. Now I'm in re-writing mode then I can see that there is more to be done, however, the biggest challenge for me would be finding a new title. To me, Pirates vs Fairies is not doing it, it need something more and I'm heading down the well worn route of Indiana Jones...Capden Den and the something of something. War of the Fairies: Return of the King. I don't know. But a title is sooo important!!!
